Is a document signed online valid?
Electronic signatures are recognised under the Information Technology Act, 2000 for most private agreements and declarations. Where an office needs stamp paper, notarization or registration, choose "Done for you" and we print the e-signed document on stamp paper and complete those steps.
How is the stamp duty decided?
It depends on the state where the document is executed and, for some documents, its value (rent, capital or amount). We show the amount before you submit; it is paid to the government through us and shown separately from our fee.
Do I need to visit a notary?
No. With "Done for you", an empanelled notary or advocate attests the printed document and we courier the original to you.
How long does it take?
Do-it-yourself documents are ready instantly. Documents done for you are usually drafted within 1 to 2 working days; printing, notarization and courier take a few more days depending on your location.
Can I change the draft?
Yes. You review the draft before anyone signs and can ask for changes. With do-it-yourself you edit it directly.
What if I cancel?
Before we verify your details you get a full refund less the payment gateway charges. After drafting starts, the service fee is not refundable; stamp duty is refunded only if the stamp paper is unused, as per state rules.
